Silly Goose! Animal Cards For Speech Therapy and Beyond

Developed by a speech language pathologist (SLP) with 13+ years of experience working in public schools, these cards have been carefully curated to target a wide variety of goals. 

Great for mixed groups of students working on a variety of speech/language therapy goals such as: 

• Early language - animal identification, naming, and categorization; match to other animal picture cards or toys; answer yes/no questions
• Receptive language - listen to a description to find the right card; answer wh- questions
• Expressive language - phrase and sentence formulation in any modality (verbal, written, sign language, AAC, etc.); ask questions; generate narratives; compare/contrast two different animals
• Stuttering/speech fluency - practice learned strategies while describing the cards at the phrase or sentence level
• Articulation - use with carrier phrases/sentence starters; generate sentences and determine whether the artic target was produced or not
• Pragmatics - make inferences; turn taking; asking/answering questions with peers; perspective taking
• Written expression - expand sentences with greater detail; generate a written narrative; choose an animal to research and write a descriptive paragraph
